Terms of Service

1. The service

Traced is an online trading journal: you log and import trades, review them, track prop-firm accounts, study, and make share cards. These terms apply when you use Traced at tracedapp.pages.dev and its add-ons. By creating an account or using Traced, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Not financial advice

Traced shows your own past trades and statistics about them. Nothing in Traced is investment, financial, tax or trading advice, and its numbers, scores, pattern findings and example charts are not recommendations. Trading futures and other instruments is risky and you can lose money. Your trading decisions are yours alone. Check important figures, such as prop-firm drawdown and payout rules, against your broker or firm, because they are the official source.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and give a real email address.
• Keep your password and sign-in methods safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us if you think someone else got in.
• One person per account. Don't share accounts or make accounts to get around limits or the beta offer.

4. Plans, the beta and Pro

• The free plan is free with the limits shown on the website and in the app (for example, how many share cards you can make a day).
• During the beta, the first 100 accounts get Pro features free. We may end the beta, after notice, and those accounts will then move to the free plan unless they choose Pro.
• Pro, when paid plans open, will be billed as shown at the time you buy, and you can cancel any time. We will publish billing and refund terms before taking any payment.
• We may change features, limits and prices. If a change takes something away from your plan, we will tell you before it applies.

5. Your content

Your trades, notes, screenshots, pictures, videos and other content are yours. You give us permission to store, process and show them to you only as needed to run Traced (for example, to draw your share cards). When you share a card or file outside Traced, you choose who sees it.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't upload anything illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

6. Broker and platform connections

• When you connect Tradovate or install the NinjaTrader add-on, you allow Traced to read your trades on your behalf. Traced never places, changes or cancels orders.
• Only connect accounts you are allowed to use. Your broker's, platform's and prop firm's own rules still apply to you, including any rules about third-party software.
• Synced and imported trades come from those platforms and may be incomplete or delayed (for example, fees are not included). Check them against your statements.
• Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Discord and the prop firms named on our site are independent companies. Traced is not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and their names belong to their owners.

7. Fair use

Don't misuse Traced. That includes: trying to reach other people's data, getting around plan limits or security checks, overloading or attacking the service, scraping it, reverse-engineering it to copy it, or using it to break the law.

8. Availability and your data

We work to keep Traced running and your data safe, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, especially during the beta. It may have bugs, change, or be unavailable at times. Download a backup now and then (Settings → Your data); it is your own copy of everything.

9. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, decisions made using Traced, or indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for anything related to Traced is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if you used it for free). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Traced and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, and will tell you why when we can.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using Traced after that, the new terms apply.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without affecting any rights you have under the laws where you live. Questions: traced.support@gmail.com.
